History and content retention

Text history is an account choice, disabled by default. Media processing uses temporary source files; images are not copied into the account's text-history library.

Optional text history

Signed-in users can enable history from the account area. When enabled, successful text checks and transformations can save the source, output or structured analysis, tool, model, language, options and timestamps for that user.

  • History is disabled by default.
  • Turning it off stops future saves.
  • Saved entries can be deleted individually or cleared together.
  • Saved text history is retained for up to 365 days unless deleted sooner.

Temporary document and image files

Document files are processed for the time needed to extract readable text. OCR jobs use short-lived in-memory state. Image source files use a temporary processing window, with a default retention of approximately one hour before deletion.

A structured image result can remain after the source file is deleted. The original image is not copied into text history.

Deletion and account lifecycle

Account deletion and privacy requests are handled through the account and contact paths described in the Privacy Policy. Billing records may follow separate legal retention requirements.
