It depends entirely on the vendor. Some tools train on submissions or retain text for longer than you expect. Always read the privacy page of the product you are about to paste into — especially for unpublished research, HR files or student work.
On IA Checker, submitted text is not used to train models. Retention and purpose are described on the privacy page. Browser-side preview flows that analyse without upload are called out in the product UI when they apply.
