Usage question

Should I reject a CV because an AI detector flagged it?

Verified 2026-08-05

No as a sole rule. CVs are short, formulaic and often written in a second language — a combination that raises false positives even when every bullet is human. An automatic cutoff quietly discards qualified people.

Use a high score to prioritise a slower human read. Look for verifiable projects, employer-specific detail and uneven section quality. Decide on substance and interview signal, not on a percentage.
